STRUCTURE OF GEOMETRY REGENTS EXAM:
- 38 Total Questions separated into 4 sections (detailed below)
- Part I: 28 multiple choice questions worth 2 points each
- Part II: 6 open ended questions worth 2 points each
- Part III: 3 open ended questions worth 3 points each
- Part IV: 1 open ended question worth 6 points
IMPORTANT INFORMATION TO KNOW ABOUT THE GEOMETRY REGENTS EXAM:
- All multiple choice must be answered in pencil on the provided scantron
- All work in parts II, III, and IV must be answered in pen in the provided booklet (except for drawings, graphs, or constructions)
- You must show or explain how you arrived at each answer by indication the necessary steps, including appropriate formula substitutions, diagrams, graphs, charts, etc. in order to receive full credit
- You will have 3 hours to complete the exam
